Born and raised in Omaha, NE, Katie grew up the youngest of 4. Since both of her parents came from large families, summers consisted of road trips to see aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country. Visiting family in Fort Collins, CO always topped the list and Katie developed a fondness for the town and the mountain activities. When it came time to leave for school, she headed east to St. Louis, MO to study at Maryville University. Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and worked as a curator at Saint Louis University’s Museum of Art. While working at Saint Louis University, she obtained her Masters of Business Administration.
During this time, Katie was introduced to rock climbing and her love for nature and outdoor activities re-emerged. At the rock climbing gym in St. Louis, she met her now husband, Anoushir. Katie and Anoushir shared a passion for the outdoors and much of their time dating was spent venturing away from St. Louis to climb and camp in Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, and Southern Illinois.
Although Katie enjoyed her job as a National Account Manager for a dairy company, she felt that something was missing. While traveling to Colorado on multiple occasions to ski, rock climb, and visit family, Katie and Anoushir started to wonder why they were living in St. Louis and not Colorado. After some deep introspection, Katie began to realize that what she enjoyed most in life was building relationships and helping others resolve problems.
So, Anoushir and Katie decided to make a few big changes. They sold their house in St. Louis, moved to Fort Collins, and Katie began her career as a Realtor (very soon to be followed by Anoushir). And the rest, as they say, is history.

Anoushir grew up in St. Louis, Missouri with a passion for all things mechanical. He attended school in Chicago and graduated with a degree in Automotive Mechanics. Starting out as a technician in an independent repair shop, Anoushir worked his way through the ranks and eventually became Shop Service Manager. There Anoushir discovered another passion: helping others.
A few of Anoushir’s hobbies include motorcycle racing, skiing, traveling, and all outdoor activities – especially rock climbing. Anoushir was lucky enough to meet his beautiful wife, Katie while rock climbing in St. Louis, and together they traveled across the nation to experience the unique types of climbing offered. Along the way, Katie and Anoushir met great people and made lifelong friendships. Ultimately, their love of climbing and adventure led them to Fort Collins, Colorado, where they continue to explore and develop new hobbies to enjoy.
Being a “transplant” to Fort Collins after living and spending time in several other parts of the country, Anoushir understands the true value and love of Northern Colorado. No matter what your pleasure, you are bound to find it and people who share your passion.
